Fall arrives

With the drought the Boston area had in late summer, I wondered if we’d have much fall color at all. I thought leaves might drop before they changed. Now the colors are coming on, maples are starting to hit peak color in my town, with oaks and beeches still green, and aspen and poplar going yellow.img_0494mapleferns.jpg

We had our first touch of frost this week, but since then it’s warmed up – butterflies are still flying, but their season is just about over.

  1. Hi, Tom

Your photographs continue to blow me away. I would love to be able to take photographs like you.

Have you thought about creating nature photography ebooks? One on insects, one on flowers, one on butterflies, etc? I would certainly buy it.

  2. Barbara, Bernie, “This,” thanks for the kind words.

Donna – what a great idea! I have the tools to do it, I just have to figure out who the audience is and find the time.
