Queen Anne’s Lace

Just a common wildflower, but this cluster had an unusual globular shape, not the usual flat top:


Taken at the salt pond in Eastham at Cape Cod National Seashore – I just got back from a week at the Cape.

  1. Queen Anne’s Lace is common here in NWMO as well. We have it growing all over our farm. I’ve not seen a globular one yet, now I will have to keep my eyes open. It is always fun to find an oddity.
