Spring flows

We had a snowy winter in New England, and when the thaw started a few weeks back the creek flows were fast and clear:

Much prettier than the trickle I see in summer or that vast muddy flow after a heavy rain. Such a relief to see all the white stuff melt. My snowdrops came up, but the crocuses aren’t flowering yet, just a few leaves. Time to start looking for bloodroot.
