A single anther from the same flower as the last post:
This more or less the highest magnification I can get with the MP-E65 lens. At this magnification, it’s really hard to keep the camera steady, even with a good tripod.

I imagine that, even with the mirror locked up and a cable release, just the act of exposure must create some motion at this magnitude. Still looks pretty crisp and it is up to your usual great abstract vision, Tom.
This looks as if the flower is balanced on a very fine needle. Very intriguing image.
