Grass drops
I’ve got a thing about water drops. I’ve noticed before that a dew drop can accumulate at the top of a grass stalk – this time I found a pair of them:
Taken with the Canon MP-E65 lens at about 3x magnification. It’s amazing how different the world looks when you get this close…
Wonderful photo. I so love macro photography. It gives us entry into an unseen world. :^)
Thanks for the kind words and for stopping in, Carole!
That is so true. Its so amazing to look at things so closely, and you’ve captured one of such moments brilliantly here. Good job indeed!
Awesome macro. I love how clear and defined the drops are. I love photographing drops as well, but I can never get an image that clear!
Thanks, Gracie! For me, the only reliable way to get a sharp image is to use a tripod. Here, the tripod was flat on the ground.
Water drops are just magical. I’m thinking a black background would make the green blade and water drops stand out more. I travel with a black card and quick-clip stand for such an occaision. This image would look awesome in B&W, I think!
Wonderful. The whole world in two small drops.
sharp and so gorgeous 🙂
