Blue-eyed grass and visitor

Blue-eyed grass is a tiny, common wildflower in the iris family. I set up for a series of low angle flower images, and a tiny syrphid fly landed on the stamen:

It was a surprise when it happened, but I now remember I’ve seen flies attracted to this flower a number of times over the years. This time one landed in the right spot at the right time…
