Another Grass Pink stem and a closeup of just the stamens:
There’s a crab spider just visible on the bottom right flower.
This was taken at pretty high magnification, 2x or 3x.

Alluring flora!!! Cheers Nonoy Manga
Thanks – these were exciting flowers to see.

The first one is very elegant. I like the second also, because I always like to see the details of flowers.
I’m glad you think it’s elegant – you should have seen me kneeling inelegantly in the swamp to get it!
Beautiful! I love the first image, with that buttery-soft background that just makes your subject pop.
The background took a fair amount of work – I had to run behind the flowers push aside grass to clear the way. Thanks…
Nice smooth classic on the first image and great details on the second one – the flower looks like some alien there.
Thanks for stopping in again, Tomas. Magnification can transform flowers into something unexpected – which is why I like it.
I have photographed these once, and had a bit of a hard time composing something with them as they were in a very cluttered area. Nice job with both of these.
Thanks Mark – the background took a fair amount of fussing. It wasn’t that easy…
Superbe le détail ! 😉
