The undulating edge of a dark leaf in morning shadows:
The shadow was a great help in simplifying the background – it seems like there is always a bright distraction on the ground with frosty subjects.

That’s an excellent undulating abstraction. Too bad you had to endure frigid weather to go out and record this and some of the other crystalline pictures you’ve posted.
