I’m just back from a visit to the California coast. Here’s a dune wildflower, purple beach verbena, from Asilomar in Pacific Grove:
you have a great eye for all the beauty of nature 🙂
I love the simplicity of the overall pattern and the fact that it is nearly monochromatic.
The pattern was the thing – I also liked the curvature of the flower cluster. Thanks for the comment!

It was glorious to find these in the dunes, just a few steps from my room at Asilomar.
