Recently I posted a closeup of the curling anthers at the center of this flower. Here’s another view of a fresher flower of a different hue, with straight anthers and a few speckles of pollen:
Lovely and a view of chicory I’ve never had. Probably not much left after the last few frosts. Not sure how frost hardy they are.
They are around pretty late in the season – but I’m not sure how frost-resistant they are. Thanks, Steve!
