Notes from the field, essays, and observations.
I think it’s a calendula – a wildflower I found blooming profusely in a vineyard in Sonoma County, California:
And now that I’m back in New England, we’ve had a pile of snow – winter at last, after weeks of mild weather.
Nice and sweet !
Merci, Celine – it was a treat to find wildflowers in January.
excellent use of shallow depth of field 🙂
I’ve become addicted to shooting wide open – for the simplification, and the neat things that happen in the background.
Very smoothly ! lovely
An f/4 aperture is the answer to a smooth look – thanks!
Thanks – I couldn’t resist the orange and green colors.
A pretty flower, beautifully captured. And a welcome whisper of warmer days..
So nice ! bravo !!!
I’m not sure why but looking at the beautiful colouring of these flowers made me hungry 🙂
Love your concept in this capture
