Frost stars
A small constellation of frost stars on clear stream ice:
I often convert ice images to black and white, but I liked the blue highlights and the browns from the rocks on the stream bed. This wasn’t flat stream ice, there were bumps and contours you can see in the reflections.
something a lil different yet cool 🙂
I saw Venus as the morning star an hour ago, but that’s the closest I’m going to come to frost stars in my southerly latitude (where a photographer doesn’t have much latitude for ice pictures).
The spring wildflowers and Texas wildlife should more than compensate your lack of chilly subjects…
These are really great Tom
Thanks, Mark. I’m used to using a flat back background for these, the impact of the colors and the contour highlights was a neat discovery.
