Another insect on a Black-eyed Susan:
Although they are a wasp, I think this species feeds on flowers and doesn’t sting, unlike many of its stinging, predaceous cousin wasps.

I’m unwary, I haven’t been stung in a very long time. But then there’s mosquitoes, ticks, biting flies… Hymenoptera, happily, haven’t been a problem.
