I often convert ice images to black and white, but not this one. Such a range of blue tones in this stream ice:

Good for you
For keeping the blue.

to making them black
I love the blue we find in ice, especially when there is dark water below. The layout and shape of the bubbles made me think of Cladonia fruiting bodies.
