  1. So different from our bluebells (Eustoma exaltatum, or prairie gentian), but equally lovely. This is the sort of plant I expected to see when I first began looking for native Texas bluebells. Ours have a bell-like shape, but you have to imagine them tipped upward in the hand of a bell-ringer.
