Rodeo beach
Rodeo Beach in the Marin headlands on a foggy morning:
The fog was so dense I didn’t see the distant cliffs and rocks at first – B&W processing helped bring them out.

Cracking shot love the patterns within this
Thanks – I picked this take for the foreground patterns.
The processing seems perfect. The rocks are cliffs are visible, but don’t compete with the more dramatic meeting of sand and sea. This is one of those images where black and white really works to highlight a natural phenomenon.
Black and white enhanced the contrasts, especially the surf lines against the sand. Some day I’ll go back and take a long exposure to blur the waves…
Gorgeous!!!
Thanks, David!
What a mood and feel 🙂
Great scenery! Ideal for long early morning walks.. Thank you for “getting” me there 🙂
Beautiful shot Tom!
Thanks, Mark!
It’s clear you had fun playing with the threshold of visibility.
