More poppies from my flower meadow:

The flowers are thinning out now, but I wanted to try different light, compositions, and a tilt-shift lens. The last two were taken with the tilt-shift tilted down – the stem melts and the flower seems to float.

    • The light in early evening comes through the woods and spotlights flowers In the meadow. I had to try it, especially since I usually prefer softer light for flowers. Thanks!

  1. It’s amazing how different each photo seems from the others. From quite simple elements — poppies, blue flowers, and green grasses, you’ve created a multitude of compelling images. I love poppies generally, but these are special.

    • Thanks for commenting on the variety – I had many to choose from, and I made an effort to make each one a little different. 🙂 The cornflower blue is such a lovely thing to have as contrast with the reds.
