Drops and pine needles

Some recent rainy weather made pine needles look beautiful, arrays of bright drops:

The last one was taken in late afternoon in dim light. The colors faded in the high contrast light, making the image almost black and white.

  1. The drop in the last photo looks indented, like a peach. You certainly did collect a nice harvest of raindrops with these. My favorite is the second, but I think that’s mostly because of the colors. All of the drops are interesting and attractive.

    • The thing I like about the second one is the misty, low contrast look, except for the bight drop. The indent in the last one is an illusion, it’s the refracted image of a pine needle. Thanks!
